What is a University Hospital Federation (FHU)?
A University Hospital Federation (FHU) is an academic structure that brings together research teams from hospitals, universities and Inserm with recognised expertise in a priority research theme in terms of care, teaching and research.
The mission of an FHU is to consolidate collaboration between hospital and university teams on federating projects in order to boost medical research, improve the quality of care through rapid dissemination of innovation and target and optimise research funding.
