Launch of the QIM – Question d’Intérêt Majeure – research programme

“How can we prevent and reduce situations of disability among children, teenagers and young adults in the Paris region? “

Led by Sorbonne University professors Eléonore Bayen and Raphaël Vialle, this ambitious project is funded by the Ile de France Region and was launched in October 2023.

Its aim is to shed light on our understanding of the factors contributing to the modulation of young people’s disability situations. Indeed, there are many children, teenagers and young adults with disabilities in the Ile-de-France region. The people who support them throughout their lives and their life projects are many and varied, in particular care and support professionals (medical, medico-social and social) and family assistants.
